The tour is coming to Maccclesfield thanks to a group fundraising campaign, created by Artspace and supported art lovers around the town. The art exhibit, created by artist Jimmy Cauty, is featured in a 40ft shipping container which houses a miniature depiction of a post-riot landscape.
The artwork only goes to towns where there’s been a riot. Macclesfield was famous for ‘the potato riot of 1812, which you’ll find more information about at the exhibit and be hearing more about in 2017!
You can discover the ADP Riot for youself at Exchange Street Car Part, Macclesfield every day from 11am to 7pm.
